Hey there! I’m Scott Davis, the proud owner of Patriot Pest Management, aka the guy who keeps your unwanted critters in check. I’m a father of three spectacular kids and a grandfather to four amazing grandkids. Yep, we have a whole pest-fighting dynasty going on here. And I’ve been married to my beautiful wife for nearly 35 years—you could say she’s my biggest and most cherished catch.
My illustrious journey into pest control started over 33 years ago in 1992. Picture this: a young, eager Scott taking on a job with Orkin as a pest control technician. Fast forward a few years, a lot of sweat, and probably more insect bites than I’d care to count, I worked my way up to service manager, then into sales, and finally, I was the branch manager. Not too shabby, right?
In the fall of 2013, my son Harley and I had the brilliant idea of starting our own pest control company. Thus, Patriot Pest Management was born. We decided to channel all our energy into commercial pest services in our area because, let’s face it, businesses don’t want bugs scaring off their customers. Armed with nothing but our determination and a serious lack of customers or leads, we built our company from the ground up. Now, twelve years later, we service over 400 customers per month. Who knew people didn’t like pests in their businesses or homes?
Our commercial services are as diverse as the pests we tackle, covering businesses and homes across the West Texas area. We offer guaranteed bed bug services—because no one likes those unwelcome visitors—and cater to apartment complexes, clinics, schools, city and county municipalities, and large senior living communities. We deliver great service and genuinely value every single customer, no matter how small or creepy-crawly their problem may be.
Harley, fresh out of college in 2013, followed in his father’s footsteps and entered the pest control industry. He began his career at Orkin as a start technician and route manager, gaining valuable experience in the field. In 2014, Harley and his dad decided to start their own pest control company, and Patriot Pest Management was born. They began with no customers and no leads, but through hard work and dedication, they built a company to be proud of.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Harley is also a dedicated family man with two awesome children. He enjoys playing football and basketball and has played football professionally and semi-professionally for the past 10 years.
Some of Harley’s key attributes are his academic approach to problem-solving and his commitment to excellence. He studies and learns everything he can about his subject before executing his plan, which has made him an expert and leading authority in bed bug eradication. His critical thinking and dedication to excellence have set him apart in the pest control industry, earning him respect and recognition from peers and clients alike.
Erin joined Patriot Pest Management in March of 2024, and since then, she has flourished in her role as a Collections Expert. Erin’s enthusiasm for her job is evident when she speaks about her experiences and the people she works with.
Erin genuinely loves everything about her job, but she particularly cherishes the camaraderie and support of her colleagues. “I have the world’s best boss,” Erin says with a smile, “and the most talented, fun, and knowledgeable techs!” This strong sense of teamwork and mutual respect is what sets Patriot Pest Management apart from other companies in the industry.
Erin believes that the exceptional personalities and professional skills of her team members make a significant difference. “Our guys will leave you happy, pest free, and maybe even laughing,” she beams. The team’s dedication to providing professional and effective pest control services, with a touch of humor and warmth, ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Beyond her professional life, Erin enjoys a unique hobby—raising a small flock of chickens. Among her feathered friends are a couple of “show hens” with fancy feathers, and some that lay pink and blue eggs. “I never have to worry about egg prices at my house!” she jokes.
Erin’s best advice for customers is straightforward: “Just give us a call! ” She confidently asserts that Patriot Pest Management’s first treatment is 99.9% effective, resulting in minimal service call backs. Whether dealing with bedbugs or bats, the team at Patriot has you covered, and they might even share a funny joke or two with you. 😊

We make every effort to provide prompt service, aiming to schedule appointments as soon as possible. Typically, we strive to accommodate same-day or next-day requests, ensuring a maximum waiting time of 48 hours for pest control.
However, for bedbug treatments, we may require scheduling three or four days in advance due to specific preparation requirements. A prep list will be provided to guide you through the necessary steps, which may take a couple of days to complete before our arrival. This preparation ensures optimal conditions for our treatment and enhances its effectiveness.
There are many reasons to use Patriot over do-it-yourself methods like using store-bought products for your pest control.
There is no time like the present! Now is the best time to use Patriot for your pest control needs. Living in Midland, Texas the question is not will pests invade my home? The question is when will the pest invade my home?
Not only do we kill and drive out the current pest, but we also create a border ensuring that the future pests “that are sure to come” can not penetrate your wall voids.
Most people get their house treated every 2 to 3 months. Some cases are different depending on location, the specific issues, and other variables. Generally, when using a professional Pest Control company like Patriot, we recommend getting your house treated every 3 months to have a pest-free house year-round.
Yes, Our products are 100% child and pet-friendly. This is a valid question because pets and kids tend to spend a lot of time near the floor. However, we use products specifically designed to be safe for your whole family. We use a fast-drying solution give it 15-20 minutes and it will be like we never were even there!
Yes, As a pest control professional, I understand the misconception that pests are only a warm-weather concern. However, the reality is that the cold weather in the winter months presents their own set of challenges when it comes to pest control. While some pests may seem dormant during colder temperatures, many seek refuge indoors, where they can thrive in the warmth of our homes and businesses. Rodents, such as rats and mice, are notorious for seeking shelter indoors during the winter, posing serious health risks and property damage.
It is commonly believed that a bee can only sting once. This is partially true for honeybees, which can only sting once. However, other types of bees, wasps, and hornets are capable of stinging multiple times.
It’s a myth that bees won’t sting if unprovoked. Bees, wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets will sting if they feel threatened or their colony is at risk.
Snap traps should be placed vertically against walls, not horizontally. Position traps in areas with many droppings for best results.
Gel bait is often ineffective in kitchens due to contamination from cleaning products and fried food. It also emits a strong odor when dry, making removal from cabinets challenging.
While it is true that certain species of mosquitoes are more active during dawn and dusk, mosquitoes can be active at any time when food is present. It is advisable to implement mosquito prevention methods whenever you are outdoors.
Bed bugs can thrive in any environment, clean or dirty, as long as they have a food source. They can be found in furniture, beds, cars, wheelchairs, and public seating areas.
Setting off bombs in an infested room is ineffective. While some bugs may be killed, those hidden in cracks will sense danger and retreat, only to return later or infest another room.
Bed bugs are challenging pests to eliminate once they establish an infestation in a home. They primarily come out to feed when the host is sleeping, making it difficult to locate and identify. They can also reproduce quickly and infest a structure rapidly. As a result, professional treatments are often necessary to eradicate them. Online products may not always be effective; some act as repellents and can drive bed bugs to other rooms, while others may have no effect. These direct contact pesticides generally last for about 10-12 minutes.
The electronic hum from the unit, along with the presence of heat and water, can attract fire ants. Fire ants can interfere with your condenser by getting between the electrical contacts and causing it to fail.
You may not notice bugs until they invade your home. Bugs are always present; they just become noticeable too late. In winter, they seek warmth; in summer, they look for shade and water. During spring and fall, they search for specific foods to prepare for the next season. Weather can also drive insects into your home.
Although many pest control myths are unfounded, prevention is key to avoiding infestations. If you suspect or want to prevent a pest issue, contact Patriot Pest Management. Their technicians use the latest methods to eliminate and prevent pests.
Fact: 85% of household pests come from outside. Regular exterior treatments significantly reduce the chances of bugs entering your home.
